Hi John
We generate the altitude profiles by uploading our GPS track (Garmin Edge 800) to http://www.strava.com .
I then make a print screen on the altitude profile that you find below the maps in the “daily map” section. Click on a map and it will take you to yhe strava page.
Apart from doing it this way you can download the strava app and use your phone to generate tracks snd altitude profiles. There is a strava app for iphone and I bet there should be one for androids too.
Using the iphone wouldn’t work in our case though since roaming costs would be sky high and besides that the battery wouldn’t last long enough to cover one day’s cycling.
Try to surf in to strava and create an account. I have used the free version for almost a year and it works great.
If you are using an Android App for your altitude profile,
what is the name of the Android App?
