Our bags are now packed and we are leaving Istanbul within one hour. We have had some very pleasant days here staying first at a hotel and then at our friends’ house.

We are lagging behind in our writing and our intentions was to do a bit of writing when we were here. We have some drafts but we will publish them later, maybe tomorrow (Thursday) so please be patient with our slow updating.

We have spent 6 days in the city and they have generally been rather cold. Now when it is time to leave the weather looks great. +21 degrees and sunshine with the weathermen’s promise that it will get warmer the coming days.
