  • One short sleeved Icebreaker T-shirt in merino wool each.
  • One pair of light mesh shoes from Ecco for use during days off the saddle
  • Two sets of underwear and socks each. Once again in merino wool
  • A set of thin cotton T-shirt and boxer shorts each for sleeping

Cycling clothes – next to skin layer

  • Woolnet mesh undershirt from Aclima. (Will be sent home after winter ends)
  • Long johns from woolpower.  (Will be sent home after winter ends)
  • Wej has two short sleeved cycle jerseys in merino wool. Both from Icebreaker
  • Joakim has one short sleeved Patagoina travel shirt, one Icebreaker merino T-shirt and one ordinary lycra cycling T-shirt.
  • 1 long sleeve cycling jersey from Icebreaker each
  • 2 pair of padded shorts each
  • 2 pairs of merino wool socks from Smartwool each

Mid layer

  • 1 long sleeve polo jersey from Icebreaker
  • 1 fleece sweater each. (Marmot and The Northern Face)

Insulation layer to stay warm

  • Joakim Houdini high loft for at subzero temperatures. (Will be sent home after winter ends)
  • Wej uses Arcteryx Atom Hoody for insulation during cold weather (Will be sent home after winter ends)
  • Electrically heated inner soles in our shoes. (Will be sent home after winter ends)
  • Windstopper fleece gloves for cool days and 3 finger gloves when it gets below zero
  • Windstopper beanie to use under helmets (Will be sent home after winter ends)

Outer layer to keep wind and rain out

  • Trousers:  During winter Wej uses Klättermusen Mithril and Joakim Klättermusen Gere. During summer we both use Klättermusen Gandalv (sponsored)
  • Jackets: Both of us uses Klättermusen Einride (sponsored) which is tight wowen windproof and water repellant.
  • Rain protection. Joakim uses a super thin Norröna Bitihorn jacket that is slightly bigger than a tennis ball and rainpants from Marmot with full length zippers
  • Wej uses an old light rain jacket from Arcteryx. It might not be needed and if so then ditched along the way. She uses Norröna Bitihorn rain pants. Very light but probably won’t last all the way.
  • Meindl Borneo shoes (Joakim) and Merell trekking shoes (Wej). These will be changed to Shimano SPD shoes once spring arrives.
